I watched "Gentleman's Agreement" (DVD 0254) last weekend; it won the Oscar for best picture in 1947. Set in post WWII New York City, it explores antisemitism--I'm guessing it was pretty provocative in it's day. It raises some intriguing questions about the definitions of prejudice. All in all it was a worthwhile 90 plus minutes (and the 40's clothes were lots of fun!)
