Marjorie Stephenson Scholarship

On November 13th, Bailey Library celebrated the 2012-13 recipients of the Marjorie Stephenson Scholarship with a dessert event in their honor. 

This year's recipients of the scholarship are: Shawnte Knox, Tierney Smithson, Bianca Suggs and Dominique Williams.

A Ghostly Gathering

Bailey Library's PR/Outreach Department celebrated Halloween with A Ghostly Gathering on Tuesday, October 30th in the Special Collections room during common hour. 

Author and historian Dr. Robert Watson, the featured speaker, shared tales of Slippery Rock University's most famous specters and apparitions!  The haunting of North Hall by Emma Guffy Miller was a main topic and a slide show presentation rounded out the hour.
