I enjoyed the article commenting on the "hippness" of librarians. I've never understood how having or not having a bun is going to help us compete in a world full of so many information avenues. I don't really think that anyone cares how we style our hair. In fact, it wasn't mentioned once on the LibQual Survey.
I also enjoyed reading the reference to librarians as long-time intellectual freedom fighters. It is a history of which we should all be incredibly proud.
