You're There and We're Here... Not a problem

Feeling a little sluggish because you caught a bug? Not wanting to drive 30 minutes in a snow storm? Never fear... Bailey Library is here. And there. Everywhere really; as long as there is Internet.

Joining in with the University, the community, and the country, we are doing our part to prepare for a possible flu outbreak by spreading the word that we have been fairly well prepared all along, at least in terms of serving you from a distance. How can we serve you from here while you are there? Glad, you asked...
  • Remote Reference - Phone: 724-738-2641; e-mail: askalibrarian@sru.edu; IM: SRUBaileyLibrary

  • Remote Access to Databases -Access our databases the same way you do on campus, for example our Databases A-Z list, with one additional step requiring you to enter your SRU log on information. A screen asking for your information will appear after you click on the database link.

  • Remote Access to Over 150,000 E-Books and Over 30,000 E-Journals - Access various resources through records in our Catalog by following the Web Link and entering your SRU log on information.

As Bailey Library continues to devise a plan to serve you during a possible flu outbreak, we will keep you well informed. Please check our blog and our home page for updates, which will be posted as needed. And, most importantly, please stay well.
