Congratulations to Library Director Phil Tramdack, who was honored on Martin Luther King Day with the Slippery Rock University 2008 Martin Luther King Award for Civil Leadership. This award came in recognition of his "support of civil rights, advocacy for social justice and demonstrated leadership in motivating others toward an understanding of and quest for civil rights and social justice for all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age or ableism."
